Looking for Trouble [Orsal Judging][Concluded]

OOC: I know who it is; I already did.

IC: Rowan points at the knight. "Hey - you said you surrendered. Then you buggered off while we were fighting those zombies. But hey, no hard feelings. Why don't you sit down and have a drink."

OOC2: I suppose, honesty would require me to say Rowan is largely bluffing when he says he has no hard feelings. His bluff is +1

"You misremember, Sir. I specifically gave my parole until such time as you turned me over to the authorities. I allowed myself to be turned over to the monks of the Long Zhen monastery, and then escaped from there. My parole was upheld to the letter."

"I'm afraid I cannot join you for a drink, as I am on assignment. In spite of my change of fortune during our last encounter, I have managed to remedy my situation by finding new employment. Though I would know your name, as I do not believe I obtained it in our last encounter."

"Alright my friends, let's see about getting you patched up."

Richard feels so much better, and still marvels as his bruises fade and the swelling recedes magically before his eyes.

Lucien looks over at Richard at the remark. "Huh?"

Richard, who is unaffected by wearing his medium armor, will also stand at the ready, yet not make any menacing moves. Looking to Lucien the wary fighter only shrugs and turns back to the knight, trying to gather any details from appearance or the conversation that will give a clue if this is going to be a fight or not.

OOC:
my apologies on no recent posts, RL stepped in and scrambled things around well and truly. Any prayers for guidance and patience would be most appreciated.
thanks

ooc: Personally, I am not a big fan of multicolored text in any event, don't worry about it unless it's for your own amusement.

"Ah, true enough. That's what I get for drinking on the job." Rowan says with a laugh. "Are you really in such a hurry, though, Sir Knight? I'll give you my name and much more if you'll join us for a spell. Perhaps we could even help you with your mission, Sir...?"

"My employer seems to have misplaced some 'sheep.' I'd best locate them before they wander far. While I apreciate the offer of a drink, our last meeting was somewhat marred by my loss of volition, an experience I would prefer not to duplicate. While it is not my desire to offer any insult, you'll need to put my reluctance down to that unfortunate experience."

"Lost some sheep, eh? They wouldn't happen to be huge smelly sheep which drop a trail of rotten flesh would they? If so, we've met them. Perhaps we could come with you. We've got some good trackers. My name is Rowan McTavish by the way." says Rowan.

"Ah, you've seen them. Those are indeed the sheep I'm looking for. Blasted stupid, but nonetheless usefull, when they don't wander off. You may call me Sir Revenir, Mr. McTavish. You'll find in the right circles my name will be recognized. I'm afraid my employer would become miffed by unexpected company, though. If you'll simply let me know the direction of my lost sheep, I'll be off to collect them."

Lucien's eyes narrow at the stranger when he mentions the undead as being useful. "I do not know you sir, but if you seek to do anything other than destroy those abominations then you have some serious problems with your priorities."

Rowan steps forward and puts a heavy hand on Lucien's shoulder. "Ah, Sir Revenir, you see, we ended up tussling with those monstrosities and some of us have some anger left over, but we all know they are mindless creatures. We do know something of their fate, but we would prefer to deliver our information directly to your employer. Can you tell us his name and where we can find him?"
