Looking for Trouble [Orsal Judging][Concluded]

Gardner is uncharacteristically sullen for the first day following the fight and keeps to himself. As he tends to camp in his fish out of water manner, he has a dark look on his face. Damn! I froze during the trouble with the Ogres. Everyone reacted well, but me! I have to pull my weight around here. He puts his mule up, wishing they had stayed in a more urban environment.

Gardner looks at the "knight as he trots away, his brow knitting. What could this bastard be up to, it can't be anything benevolent with zombies involved, he thinks to himself.

Clearing his throat he says to the group, "I suggest we rest and follow either his trail or the trail of his "sheep". They shouldn't be hard for a tracker like Lucien to follow. I'm pretty intrigued by our new friend, and his master's intentions. Anyone trafficking in zombies can't be trying to help the local inhabitants. Rowan, what do you know of this fellow from your previous encounter." Gardner seems to brighten with the prospect of a new puzzle before the group.
OOC: I've arrived at my new town, but may not have real consistent internet access for a bit.
Looks like things have slowed a bit after that frenzied first encounter.

"The knight and zombies will go the same way. The only question is, do we track them now, or in the morning. I say in the morning. I'd like to be at full strength in that encounter. I've got nothing much more to say about the knight. He's got some sense of honor, but is consistantly involved with evil men." replies Rowan.

"Sounds like most of you folk have lots of adventuring under your belt already," Dagobert says. "I'd love to hear about them some time."

Dagobert continues to aid those needing healing.

OOC: I believe we've rested two days, and I've cast two days worth of spells, right? And we'll be setting out the next day, which would allow me to gain them back?

ooc: Sounds right to me. If there are no objections to Rowan's sugestion, I will advance time shortly.

Richard greets the new day with some warm up exercises and checks his gear and weapons over thoroughly - again.
He is nervous yet confident that he has the measure of his foes and will not fail the group this time.

Thinking carefully of different strategies, the young fighter comes up with a question he hopes is worthwhile.
"Would it be safe to assume that this 'knight' can command the zombies?"

"No. I don't think so. He's just a slimy bastard who prefers to hang out with those who can. I might have forgiven him for doing it once, but here he goes. At it again. Well, I doubt those zombies are coming back our way, let's find 'em."

Rowan moves out and tries to track the zombies (& the knight). He's not a good tracker, though, and is learn from Lucien.

OOC: Looks like Dogobert sucessfully aided Rowan's healing the second day (& night?). This Rowan would normally heal 8 points for a full day's rest, instead he heals 16. Add to this the 3 pts from Dagobert's CLW, gives him 19 more HPs, which just happens to be exactly what he needs to reach his full 45!

Dagobert failed his long-term healing check on Lucien and Richard, so they only heal 4 pts each for the day & night. Plus the 6 from the CLW on Richard. So Lucien is at 14 to 16, Richard is fully healed. Dagobert probably can spare 2 cure minor wounds during the day to spend on Lucien, so I believe as we start out in the morning, everyone is fully healed and Dagobert has all his spells to boot!
