Looking for Trouble [Orsal Judging][Concluded]

Do you have a plan for making up time on the zombies? More specifically, what's the speed of your slowest party member after all modifications?

OOC: Rowan will let the slowest person ride his horse. Let's see, who've we got?

Rowan (on foot w/guisarme) 30'
Rinya (on foot) 40'
Richard (mounted) 40+
Lucien 30 (studded leather)
Dagobert 30 (leather)
Killian 20' (scale mail, though speed is listed as 30.)
Gardner 30 (leather)

I think that's our crew, so if Killian rides Rowan's horse (Wolfsbane), then we can move at 30'. Unfortunately, ogres and mounted knights move faster than that. Perhaps not so for ogre zombies, I don't know; I've been resisting looking them up. They only get one move action/round, do they not, which would slow their overland speed, I would think. If it looks like we're losing ground, perhaps we should turn and try to follow the trail back to the necromancer.
 

You are able to find the trail without too much difficulty, and try to make the best possible time catching up. You don't think you are falling behind, but it's difficult to tell. You chase the zombies and their 'shepard' for most of the day without coming into sight of them, untill...

Spot check DC 14 in order to act in the surprise round.

Roll Initiative.
 


ooc: Couldn't get IC to work from the hotel computer. Gardner is +2 for spot and +3 for initiative. I'll try again later, but I might need a roll from the GM.


OOC2: Tried again a couple of hours later, but IC still won't work. Sorry for the inconvenience. :\
