Looking to play in a WarCraft game

Nope. If I do play a Night Elf, it would be a rogue one that has gone over to the horde (or is currently assisting the horde).

Yeah, they lump Night Elves in with the Alliance for simplicity's sake, but note that some do defect to the Horde because they can't stand the High Elves.

I think it's also possible for a half-elf to go to the Horde if they're sick of being treated poorly by the humans and elves.

If we both play Taurens, perhaps we could be relatives from the same clan/tribe/however it is they are raised. If we do get a game going, I'll buy a copy of the book for sure. It's just a matter of $$$, ya know how that goes.

What do you say Venus?

I think for 1st level it will be Barbarian for me. I've never played a Barbarian, or a Tauren, so this will be loads of fun.

A female half-orc assassin named Garona appeared in WarCraft I, and from what I can tell she's the lone rational for both the Half-Orc race and the Horde Assassin PrC.

Half-elves... I think that's just a concession to standard D & D. I'm not familiar with any WC half-elves.

Garona! She was planned to come back in War3, but appearantly, in the end Blizzard decided otherwise. Didn't knew/forgot that she was a half-orc though.

I seem to remember a few allusions to Horde assassins from time to time, but I can't pinpoint a specific cutscene or the like.

But I think the Horde assassin is a logical PrC. However I too am a bit concerned by the half-races, especially half-elves. It just doesn't seem like those prissy elven types would be able to have kids w/humans. But I guess they are a "DnD standard." Still, I wish they'd gone AU's route and just disallowed half-breeds entirely.

Well, if the powers need be we can always just say that half-breeds (the freaks that they are) are not allowed in this game. I mean, who wants a half human anyways when one can be the full blooded thing.

Too true. Why dilute your blood with that of the weaker races? The purity of the Horde will insure their success!

Mind you, I have nothing against half-breeds. It's just that they don't seem to fit in Azeroth, since it's (almost) not appearant in there.

But what's so wrong about Orcs? Their Str +4 is the biggest possible for an ECL 0 race. Of course I don't know how they are on Azeroth.
