Have you read anything anywhere about the scaling of the figures in this line? I'm excited too about this announcement and, like you, will probably buy select figures and rebase them for other purposes/games.

Yes, it would be nice to see a little more info on this. Depending the scale and look (and price!), I may well pick some up as well.

I just hope they didn't buy up the old Sabretooth games Pre-Painted LOTR Plastic Miniature line Molds. It'd be nice to see original sculpts especially because of the fact that the Heroclix sculpts are getting way more detailed and better painted.

It'd be the smartest move for them to scale it to a 28mm to 30mm for use with PATHFINDER or 4E. I'd LOVE to at least see them take their mini bases and scale them down to the size of D&D miniatures. You'd double up on sales because they would be catering to the D&D minis crowd and Heroclix crowd.

AND if they release some LOTR gridded Battlemaps, those would sell like hotcakes, again to the 4E, PATHFINDER, and Heroclix gamers.

And the soon to be The One Ring rpg gamers.

Yes, scale is so important. If it hits that 28-30mm range, as mentioned above, the figures will be so much more accessabile and desirable to players of others games.

the figures should be the same size as the other heroclix figures. As it will be compatable with it. So you could do a battle with wolverine, batman, and gandalf.

I couldn't have said this better myself. That's all I do with their minis.
