EH, wasn't the big episode I was looking for. Most of it was someting about Kate being married which was a snoozer. WAs anything important revealed there?

Then the whole jack, sawyer kate triangle. A decent episode, hardly something that makes me passionate about seeing it in February. No big revelations, no big cliff hanger, no complete surgery, ...

Seriously waht happened this episode.

I think the only real revelation we got was the mention of "Jacob" as being important to the others. Jacob may be the "him" that Ben referred to last season.

That's not too exiciting of a revelation, but it does imply that Ben may not be the leader of the Others that we thought he was.

I looked Jacob up on the Lost Wiki and the only one that came up was Jacob Vanderfield. He is on the Board of Directiors for The Hanso Foundation. Maybe he is the leader of the others that we have not met yet.

well, there is a cliffhanger, but not much of one.. I seriously doubt they're gonna let Sawyer get shot...

and now we get 13 weeks of Daybreak... well, at least that looks sorta interesting... I was worried they were gonna run some kind of "Dance with the stars to marry a millionaire" reality show...

something just dawn on me. If they are another island, should they not have remembered getting on a boat at the end of last season when they were caught on the pier?

Just because they got on a boat doesn't mean they necessarily had to go to another island. After all, Sayid, Sun, and Jin used a boat to travel around the island (to try and sneak up on the Others). They could just as easily assume they were traveling via boat to another location on the same island.

Kate being able to escape from her captors isn't too exciting, especially since they keep bringing up the fact that they can't escape since they're on a different island anyway.

Why is it they can't just swim to their island?

Sawyer mentioned in tonight's episode that it is something like 2 miles away or so. Which would make it a tough swim, even under ideal conditions (ie, calm waters).

That, plus the Others having access to a boat and high powered rifles would probably minimize their chances of getting away, I'd imagine.

I am so-so on this one. The good Jack taking action, being smart and in control. The bad, just tell each other that you are on another freaking island!

So, what is the relationship of Benry and Alex?

Well if they kidnapped her from the french woman when she was an infant, maybe he has convinced her that he is her father

I missed that. The only reference to Jacob that I recall was when the guy who was going to kill Sawyer said something like " Shepherd wasn't even on Jacob's list."
