LOST 3/30/05 Spoilers!

First Post
Locke has a hell of a spot check to see that rosary.

Jack got the good humor writing this week:

"Or if I'm lucky I'll get a new nickname." And the "have you had sex with a prostitute" questions leading the glasses. I laughed.

Scamming your own long lost son for a kidney? That is harsh.

Did Boone's message get understood? It sounded lke whomever he was talking to repeated some of what he said. Is this why they were led to the plane or do you think there is something more? If those guys were drug smugglers they may have some more powerful weaponry.

Another great cliffhanger with the light coming on at the end.

Locke had the dream, but doesn't bring up what he saw of Boone being all bloody.

Locke is thinking too much about himself. Obsessed with the pod or whatever it is.

Great episode.

Peace and smiles :)

Much fun. Interesting background for Locke. It looks like Locke regained his ability to walk, so the Island is happy again. Maybe it wanted blood. =)

I'm now wondering whether the radio in the plane survived (doubtful, but a small chance it did).

Minor complaint: I love Swoosie Kurtz, but she's way too young to play his mother.

Now Boone has the distinct honor of being the only island resident to have survived two plane crashes onto the island. :p

I also can't believe the writers just planted a lifetime supply of heroin to tempt poor Charlie. :\

I enjoyed the bit where we see Sayid jury-rigging Sawyer's glasses together. It helps to establish him as the resident fix-it guy.

Next week's episode seems cool.

Second episode of Lost I've ever seen, and the first to make any amount of sense to me. And my local station preempted the last five minutes for t-storms 80 miles away! I was left hanging where dude brings dude into camp, and came back in with first dude banging the roof of a car. Help, please?

All you really missed then was Locke back in the jungle, leaning over the pod, upset, and the light comes on in the pod.

Oh yeah, and Locke's dad is a @%@#%)@#) who scammed him out of a kidney and then left him cold.

After the old dude (Locke) carried the young dude (Boone) into camp and handed him over to the doctor (Jack) he mysteriously left camp. It then cut to a flashback of Locke waking up in the hospital after his surgery to find his father's bed empty. A nurse tells him that his father went home to receive private care and didn't leave him any message. In walks his mother who apopolgizes to Locke and tells him his father paid her to find Locke in the first place. She explained that she was told to act crazy because it was the only way that Locke would willingly seek out his father. Essentially his father made him think that finding him and offering him his kidney was Locke's own idea. Locke insists that his father wouldn't do that to him. When Locke went to his father's house the security guard refused to let him in to see his father. Locke glared at the security camera and drove off. Then he pulls over his car and starts to beat the cealing with his fists, slumps over and cries for having been tricked. Then we see Locke slumped over the hatch beating on it and crying; yelling at it that he'd done everything it wanted and why wouldn't it open itself for him. Then the light came on...

Wow... wow... WOW!

Awesome episode.
The light at the end made my girlfriend squirm and say the show was getting creepy :) That was one of the best moments of the season so far, and it looks like they're really going to put the pedal to the floor these last few episodes.

Great background interaction with Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Sayid. The characters are all growing, and the episodes are feeling much richer for it.

It was very interesting to get into the head of Locke again, after he has seemed be "in the know" so much lately. We were able to see that he doesn't have as tight a grasp on the situation as he appeared to.

I agree with Jaws that it seems like Locke became a little selfish, or obsessive perhaps, in turning a blind eye to that particular part of the vision. It's worrying because I get the feeling he may end up paying for that in some way... :( I haven't voted in the other poll, but would not have guessed Locke before tonight. I would be very upset if he doesn't survive, he is a great character. Then again who knows with this show, the situation can change very quickly.
