LOST 5-10-2006 "?"

Well dang, I was hoping Henry would buy it last night. No such luck. I was really bummed to see Libby die, I was hoping she would hold on for a couple of episodes...poor Hurley. But she managed to get some sort of message about Michael through, we'll see what it means. Did anyone notice aside from the arm, the doctor in the orientation used a different name from the Swan orientation film? (I believe he was 'Marvin Candle' in the first film) More and more interesting. Obviously the monitors of the monitors have to be somewhere reasonably close, pneumatic tubes can't have that huge of a range can they? (Assuming they go anywhere to begin with, they may be part of yet again something else) I'm hoping they go far enough back in those printed logs to see where Michael was talking with 'Walt' via the computer.

So, for those keeping score, for the bases we have: Swan, Pearl, Arrow, Cadeuces and Flame (the last one is according to the hatch map).

Some questions I have:

-Why does the Pearl entryway need to be visible from above?

-How long is Hurley going to be able to hold it together?

-Why is Doctor Odd on the films changing his name, faking injury, etc.?

-Is Dr. De Groot 'Zeke' the bearded outsider we see time and again?

-What keeps causing the visions of dead people the LOSTaways are seeing?

I was disappointed we didn't get to find out more of Libby's backstory in relation to Hurley, made me sad...

So, how about the Pearl video, the guy's left arm seemed to be okay, remember in the Swan film there seem to be something wrong with it.

I noticed that, too. The earlier film (which was in black and white) also seemed to be an older film than the 1980 version we saw last night. Isn't part of the Hanso Foundation research into healing and wellness and genomic development? Maybe they've found a regenerative solution.

Which could mean zombie Libby, like zombie Charlie.

Plus the flashbacks were about a person who appeared to be dead, and then wasn't dead.
Which I have a new theory on - as long as the island has the BODY of the dead person, something like nanos can make use of the image and commucate with the nanos inside the living people!

I thought the producers had ruled out nanotech and other 'super-science' sort of explanations.
I thought it was paranomal, coma, and afterlife, and that everything could be explained by tech and science.
