LOST 5-10-2006 "?"

WayneLigon

Adventurer
Last Week: On 'Two for the Road', Michael is brought back to the hatch. 'Henry' attempts to kill Ana Lucia. Hurley and Libby go on a date. Ana Lucia's flashback shows that she has extensive contact with Jack's father and - possibly - has seen Jack's heretofore unknown sister. Ana Lucia attempts to kill Henry for what he tried to do, but cannot. Michael wakes up and says he will, but instead he shoots and kills Ana Lucia, then apparently does the same to Libby. He frees Henry, and then shoots himself in the arm.

This Week: "?" Mr. Eko seeks Locke's help in finding a secret location he believes holds the key to the island's mysteries; Jack and the other survivors grapple with the horrific situation in the hatch.

I vote for "released Henry."

I also vote that Libby is not dead but obviously she can't be conscious or she'd rat out Michael.

Nor can Michael ever let her regain consciousness, which might spur more murder on his part. I could see it going two ways: (1) He is a brainwashed tool of the Others, thanks to psychological mani[ulation by 'Him', and is meant to be the mole in the group, looking to spirit away other 'good people' or report on movements detrimental to the others. Or (2) They are promising him they'll free Walt if he does this, and we know Mike's more than a little unstable enough to beleive this.

Could be something else, too. We don't know how much he and Walt 'talked' via the computer. That could have just been an illusion generated by the Island, too, like Jack's father, and 'Dave'.

I don't think they would need to brain wash him. He would do any thing to get Walt back

Well, I'm leaning towards dead but we won't know for certain until tonight when I am happily eating chili dogs and watching a new ep of LOST (and thus honoring the ancient traditions of my people).

Erm... why would Michael have shot himself in the arm before killing Henry, if that was his plan. I mean, the guy's dumb and all, but not that dumb. Henry is clearly alive, and Michael's whole plan was to free him.
