Lost a fun player

Please excuse me, if this comes off as offensive ...

You know what I would think would be neat? If in your current campaign you need to meet a contact. The best possible time to meet this contact would be at a Royal Funeral. The funeral would be to the Minotaur character your friend made. He would have been knighted and regaled as a hero. You could give a minor eulogy and the scene could be made in his honor. (as in effigy) Then at the funeral a combat could break out where you have some climactic moment involving the minotaur ...

(around his statue, using his sack of devouring, saving his young son from assassination ... etc,)

That would pay a nice tribute I think.

In the last few years of his life, my father got sucked into my DnD group. He found that it was something he really enjoyed and we had a lot of fun. After he passed away, he gamed with us one more time. After checking to make sure it was alright with my friends, we set his ashes at his nomral spot at the table and proceeded to play.

I honestly believe that he was there with us in spirit.

My thoughts are with you.
