LOST: Anybody hear of the book Bad Twin?

You know, I was just thinking - what if was written by one of the lostaways under a pseudonym?

I thought one of the Lostaways (maybe Hurley) found Troupe on the Flight Roster and he was all deadlike.

I have a friend that is about 1/3rd of the way through it. Said it was kind of a metaphysical sort of detective novel.

Someone (can't find posting now) suggested the boat Sun saw at the end might be the boat the Others were sending in response to Michael's demand. I think it's Desmond's boat. Remember him? He told Jack he was part of a boat race around the world when he washed up on the island. Maybe he didn't make good on his escape and is being re-castaway.

I just started reading the book. Something I caught that's interesting is...
In the editor's note at the beginning of the novel, he mentions that at least the author passed away with his girlfriend Cindy, who was a flight attendant on Oceanic Flight 815. Seems to me that this would be the Cindy who disappeared just before Anna-Lucia shot Shannon.
