Thanks all. Appreciate the input, and I hope Steve over at TLG will note some of the complaints--minor things, those, in all, IMO. It's the adventure that counts, eh?

The play-testing was done in Williams Bas, near Lake Geneva, over months of time, with groups rangng from a mnere dozen or a bit less to about 20 or more. That was a lot of fun:D

I'll follow the tread noted to gett more input.

Finally, apologies for not getting back here soner, but I got lost in design land. I'm working on a several projects, one a very extensive module, and I tend to forget most other things when I'm creating

Hey all,

Gary just nudged me about your thoughts on Gaxmoor, and it seems that the two biggest problems (which you all seem to have skirted quite nicely) was the internal editing.

Let me be the first to say, that this is the fault of the Troll Lords. As the publisher it is out job to catch any and all problems with the text. I'll make no excuses but assure you that we have moved to fix this problem. We've brought two d20 mechanics editors on board and another main line text editor. That should fix these most of these problems, of course I have no doubt that some will slip through, but overall we will be able to overcome this.

I'm glad you all are enjoying the Gaxmoor ride. Its really a cool run, dangerous, but cool! And we appreciate the input. It makes it easier to make the next product even better!

Alright, its late and I must take my wife to the airport in the morning, so I'm off to drink a Dr. Pepper and have a rest.

Steve

Steve,

Good man you are! Many a person might try to weasel on the matter, and you stood up and took the blame, such as that is ;)

As I writer I know that due to haste, ignorance, carelessness, or just plain ineptitude, I make a lot of errors of omission and commission too, and I am very glad there are editors and publishers there to clean up the mss. I submit.

But what the hell, the stuff that slipped past you there at Troll Lord Games is not really meaningful. The adventure is the thing, right?

The same DMs complaining are also likely to take their pens and change and alter the module anyway. So they can do that for the boo-boos to :D

just bought this, and i do like this product. i introduced the "merithians", from eden odyssey's "wonders out of time", earlier in my campaign. the lost city of gaxmoor fits in perfectly as a lost merithian city.
