Lost- episode 4- 10-25-06

I had a difficult time believing that anyone watched that show, and here her mom was thinking that I would watch it.
I watch Dancing with the Stars. I even watched the entirely of So You Think You Can Dance. It's called "having a wife".

I'm pretty close to giving up on Lost. I just don't see any end in sight. I've forgotten more plot threads than they have resolved.

Well I'm certainly not giving up on Lost. Too much invested into catching up. I've got freinds that watch just as faithfully as I but never hesitate to repeatedly assure me how much the show bugs them for not getting the plot to progress in a timely manner. Hey, I'm willing to allow them a number of episodes here and there as "gimme's" where nothing much really happens and the story arc makes no progress and one of the most interesting moments of the evening is seeing previews of NEXT WEEK's episode. But yeah, they're losing me steadily.

Heroes is holding my interest much more closely right now than Lost.

Yes we learn that there is a tribe of circus clowns living in one of the hatches.

Wow- I'd hate to see what would happen when they run into the pirates that live in one of the other hatches.

When my friend and I were watching last night and saw the preview for next week, he asked who was that (the guy looking in the camera), and I said- "It's a pirate!"

He said, "Maybe he's a ninja."

So, I said, "Must be a ninja pirate."

Funny thing is, my friend's not a gamer (not an rpger, anyway)- so how's he know about ninja pirates? :uhoh:

We don't know that. He could have seen himself build the lightening rod in the future
IMHO, it doesn't feel like Desmond so much sees the future as already knows how things played out. That is, naked Desmond bamfed back from the future (and presumably key-turning Desmond got blown into the future). Or maybe I'm just enjoying Heroes too much, and next week will show one of Desmond's prophetic visions and blow my theory out of the water.

But I think he can change the future. He tells Hurley the lightning rod is an experiment. He tries to get Claire to move down the beach while he fixes the roof, and when that doesn't work, he builds the lightning rod. I think maybe he just saved Aaron's life.

Or maybe after you've been on the island long enough you become a little bit attuned to it on a subconscious level, and Desmond tapped into it a little better than everyone else.

What?!? Hey I'm guessing just like the rest of you.

As I mentioned before I think it is more of a Deja Vu thing. Except instead of "hey I think I have been here, seen that, heard this before, he is more of I know I heard this, seen this, been here before and I can change it for the better.

I'm still fully entertained by Lost. For me, the fact that each episode leaves me wanting more is not a sign that the show is weak. And hey, the mystery isn't the big deal here. The big deal is the plot, and apparently the plot involves the Others trying to confuse the heck out of Jack, Kate, and Sawyer.

Yet another reason I am (mostly) single.

You sir, win the thread for your honesty though! :D

Taht is wonderful as long as they don't confuse the heck out of the viewers. I am a fan but sometimes I feel they are dragging stuff out, where they should resolve and move on.

They've been dragging things out since episode one season one though
