Lost - "Left Behind" - 04/04/07 (Spoilers)

As we are wont to say of 24:

Juilet is a mole!

Good ep. I'm disappointed that Sawyer won't really get to test his mettle as Plane Crash Survivor Leader (tm) since Jack is returning next week. I think maybe we saw a lot of character development on both Sawyer and Hurley's parts. I like that.

Who's to say Jack will take the leadership role again. Either you have a power struggle between the two, or people don't trust Jack because he has been with the other for about two weeks and now he brings one back. If he tries to convince the survivors to trust Juliet they may turn on him and turn right to Sawyer.

Anybody notice how fast the mud dries on the island? ;)

I really liked this episode. The parts with Sawyer and Hurley were the best, IMO.

Like others said, I don't trust Juliet. She handcuffed herself to Kate to get sympathy; and yet Kate automatically believes her when she said she was left behind? The Others have shown they're willing to do a lot to infiltrate the campsite of the Losties...

I agree, Jack has moved beyond being the leader, he is now in the role of go-between and I think will not take sides as a healer. Oh, he will keep a power base but will keep back from being leader. Sawyer will lead but can be directed by others.

But then, Kate did see Juliet *kill* someone so thatt they could escape. Jack did see Ben leave her to die when the tank room started to flood. She also asked Jacke to kill Ben on the operating table. I think she's done quite a bit to earn at least a little slack.

Another thing... If Juliet didn't know what the smoke monster was (though she was aware of it), then it's a stronger case for the Others not being part of the original Dharma Initiative.

No,but then this is the exact same pattern the first two seasons followed, so it doesn't surprise me in the least.
What pattern is that? Are you saying the show has been okay and therefore there's nothing to "turn around", or that you think it's sucked all three seasons?

Smoke may have been a side effect, the result of the accident. They may not know technically but they have some ideas and thoughts.

The question I have; is there, more than one monster? Smoke seems to be a ground based creature, keeping low. The fence kept it out but yet, we have seen the flying carpet, if they were the same, the fence really should not have helped. (Oh, bad writing could explain that).
