Why? If Sayed is in contact with Ben and Ben is still on the Island then it would be easy to arrange.
But...Ben's not on the island anymore.

Enjoyed the episode. I keep wondering what the deal is with Batmanuel showing up the same age in different decades. Seems like he's a big shot, yet he's apparently not actually in charge of anything.

So... Admrial Caine is the Oceanic airlines spokes person. Lends more credence to the Cylons-on-the-island theory.

I think something bad is going to happen to the mec who kill Alex.

Let's hope not, since it seems he's got himself wired so that if he goes, the ship goes.
Something bad is going to happen to him anyway.

It's been telegraphed since the second he was introduced on the boat. :)

Ben is off the island, so is Sayed (as we see in The Economist).

Edit: To be more clear. I don't think the island is going to move right away. I think the island will be moved once the O6 (including Sayed) get off the island. Once they are rescued, the island will get moved (while Ben and the rest of the Oceanic survivors are still on it). Then eventually Ben will leave the island w/ no way to know where it actually moved to.

Plus, I forget the episode name, but the one episode where Ben kind of wakes up in the middle of the Saraha Desert. People are under the assumption he may have "teleported" there, which is why he woke up a bit disoriented and not knowing where or WHEN he was (remember he asked the girl at the hotel the date/year).

So my theory is that the island moved and Ben had to make a hasty escape, somehow teleported and time hopped into the future, back to the "real world".

I think that if the merc dude is on the island and the C4 is rigged to him, the "time dilation" will give those on the boat a chance to escape.
But who knows? Signals are instant, but people traveling isn't.

Considering the many ways to have electromagnetism play a part, wouldn't be too unbelievable if they find a way to make sure the bomb doesn't go off.

Still, I'm just a bit tired of why some element gets introduced every few episodes and it becomes the new macguffin. ('The Cabin'... now it's 'The Orchid Station') Seriously... what next?

I don't remember the Sahara Desert scene at all. I was basing my assumption on the fact that Ben was not one of the "Oceanic Six" so was therefore still on the Island when it moved, so therefore would know its new location in the future.

I wonder if there is a way to be in one place latitudinally and have time move the Earth from under you, but have the electro-magnetism keep you in the same place in relation to the Earth's magnetic core. thus leaving you in another time and place on the Earth, but on the same latitude.
