Lost to return early?

...so bonus episodes? That would be cool. I've been watching the number of new episodes decline year after year, so having more than 22 or 24 would be great. But if they aren't already planning on this then I'm worried that we might get crappy filler episodes.

But overall, the sooner Lost comes back the happier I am.

No, I really doubt bonus or filler episodes. I suspect what they're referring to the the extra money needed to speed up production of the as-yet-unfilmed (and in post-production) episodes. Extra money means you can speed up logistics, do more second unit (and even third unit) work, etc.

Could be additional eps, but I really doubt it. The stars' contracts wouldn't include extra eps, nor likely would their schedules, and the cost would likely be insane, much more than ABC would make back on them.
