"Lost to the Game"

That's a good idea, and i'd love to hammer out the dents in the relationship, but i don't know how easy it is to discuss the real problem. It's hard to hear criticisim from a friend, but it's even harder to try and tell a friend something is bothering you when you know they'll get upset.
Maybe if they just know that i'm trying to fix things and that their friendship means a lot to me then discussing the problem won't be as hard?

I can only agree with you on that one, Archon. I've got some out-of-game problems with a friend of mine and his girlfriend and it has seriously started to affect our gaming in a bad way. She's using him and he's too stupid (I think) to notice it. The gaming was great until I found out how their relationship worked and now I have a constant urge to tell them why our gaming has gotten worse and what I think about their relationship, but I just don't have the courage to face the consequences, because I think they'll be immeasurable. Trust me, I know....

So I haven't lost any friends because of gaming as such, but I'm afraid I'm about to if things don't get better in some way (which I seriously doubt)...
