LotR:RotK ee DVD - an extra hour

I doubt that it would only have 30 mins of extra footage since the other 2 movies had over 40 minutes each. just doesn't seem right for RotK to have less.

I agree. That's why I was glad to find one of the sfx guys saying it would be at least an hour. That's fine by me!

i heard that there is going to be a couple of hours added in, including the cut sauroman, and more ending parts for the other characters. i'm hoping for this, making it just under 6 hours long.

looking for link that i got this from, but i believe it was from PJ.

Well, the moviegoers would want to know what happened to Legolas and Gimli, or if King Telessar and Arwen have a child as was predicted in Arwen's Foresight, or...

There probably is a scene with Frodo and Sam disguised as Orks, the mouth of sauron, the Rohirim Drinking Game, a bit more combat between Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and the Wraiths. The houses of healing and Saruman are confirmed.
About the length: PJ stated somewhere, that they had to cut out about one hour to bring it down to the cinematic length and that the EE would probably at least that long. In an interview afterwards, he said something about 50 min. As far as I have heard/ read, he never mentioned something about 1.5 hours.

If you guys keep quoting songs from the other version, I may be forced to go out and buy it because I can not believe there are songs like that in the movie. My brain says, "Yes, there are--it's Rankin Bass" but my heart says, "No!"
