Sovelior's SRD is wonderful. Nowadays, I DM from my network-connected laptop and just use that site instead of the books. It's a pity it lacks psionics.

I get a little flustered when I turn to a page in the DMG that should have a frequently viewed chart, i.e. experience rewards, and its not where it used to be.
I but tabs on my books, so I can always qucikly find the important sections!

I feel that, as a whole, 3.5 is a better game than 3.0. Is it perfect, no. It does seem more well rounded though.

Heh, gotta love the positive energy running through this thread. I too liked practically every change that was made in 3.5e, and with Unearthed Arcana, I have even more "official" rules to make it even closer to my platonic ideal of a RPG.

Ah, a lover of the new edition, I am. Well, 1/2 revision, 1/2 edition to use the offical party line. I used to be annoyed with much of the stuff, but the fact that everything I've seen is of much better quality, and much more useful has pushed me over the edge into true love...

In re "pokemounts", I always liked the idea of the Ranyhyn immediately coming when called by the Bloodguard in The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever, by Stephan R Donaldson.

Me three! :D

Though since I've moved away from the greatest gaming group ever and work is keeping me on the road, I'm not doing much reading of gaming material, let alone playing. :(

This thread cracks me up, considering how much OMG WOTC IS TEH SUCK there was flying around when 3.5 was announced -- how far we've come, eh?

Hooray for 3.5e! It rules. :) If only for the revised Ranger and the Eldritch Knight. ;)
