Love squirrels?

You realize that you're now committed to a series of these books. ;)

I make no promises :)

A lot will depend on whether I can come up with ideas that are interesting enough that I want to write them and use them in a game. Bunnies I could probably do - I have a few ideas for rabbit-men that I'll probably develop sooner or later. The Australian animals just don't excite me much - I could probably put some material together, but I'd probably be doing it purely for laughs. While I have nothing against writing up whimsical ideas, I prefer it to be useful whenever possible.

There's something I want to add, and that there's a "too much" even for a good thing. Doing a funny supplement well is a great thing. But if it's done too often, it will lose its originality. Not saying that you shouldn't do what strikes you as funny. But in most cases, "cool" animals like snakes, or cats, or wolves, will catch more interest. Squirrels were a great idea for an underrepresented furry, though. :D

I'm not a huge fan of love squirrels myself, but I have tried them back in the day... Now, of course, your average love squirrel has to be a bit bigger than usual, in order to accoma....

wait.

Uhh.... Never mind >_>

Yeah, good point.

I loved Mongoose's Slayer Guides to Rules Lawyers and Female Gamers. Funny stuff. When they got to the Slayer's Guide to DM's (or whatever it was called)...not so much.

Whatever the case, I enjoyed this book. If you have the idea for one more, great, if not, that's fine. I've enjoyed what I've seen thus far. :)

I love Kercpa! I had a centaur character in 2E with a Kercpa companian named...uh, it can't be spelled. Just sort of cluck your tongue twice and you're saying it. I just called him "woody." He rode in my pouch and thought of himself as a brave warrior despite his tiny stature.

I've never had much chance to see Squirrels up close. Most of the research I did focused on their climbing and scampering ability, along with evidence that they make pretty good ninja. :)

I haven't thought about it much, but are rabbits and mice the only non-farm mammals in australia?

We have a few others. Foxes were imported from England at one point, as were a wide vareity of dog and cat breeds. We have deer as well.

A large chunk of the iconic Australian wildlife (Kangaroos, wombats, dingos, drop-bears, the platypus, etc) tend to be mammals as well.

Once we get down to the rodent-class mamals, there's a fair range of those as well (bilby's, possums and sugargliders come to mind). We're just devoid of things like squirrels, moose, large bears and wolves :)
