I can only rest so much, then I get stir crazy. And pain causes sleeplessness. Also, no dentist in the office today. I will try and update the map, but with poor connectivity to the webs right now, I think I will wait until later to up load.

Hint: if you get Morgrym out of the hole and to the elevator, I will use that as a hook to get two more players.

Dame Morrogrim walks carefully up to the edge of the hole. Reaching into her bag, she pulls out her silk rope. She begins to look around the cave for something to use to secure the end of the rope.

Perception:
Morrogrim: 1d20+4=12
Olkoi: 1d20+5=6

Dame Morrogrim ties off the end of the rope to the stalagmite and throws down the other end to Morgrym. She instructs him to tie it around his waist. If he complies, she looks to her fellow adventures for assistance to pull Morgrym out of the hole.

he struggles to do so,but he indeed gets it done. the rats are sniffing the air and advancing very slowly.

Tirgas steps to the edge of the pit and addresses the rats, unblinking. While his hissing and gestures are unintelligible to the other members of his party, the content of his message is this:

You should leave here. This is our territory and our packmate. Leave, and we will not follow you and you will have peace. If you come back, so will we, and in greater numbers. If you continue your approach, we have stones and arrows and magic. Leave our territory. Let us not be enemies any more.

As a show of good faith, Tirgas orders Topaz to release her prey; she reluctantly does so.

[sblock=ooc]Thought I'd give Wild Empathy a shot. I don't think my roll's going to cut it, though . . .
