Pathfinder 1E [LPF] Rodents of Unusual Size

Tirgas and Topaz struggle to keep up with the others. The dwarf's eyes widen at the scene before them. "Kaven's claws! I've never seen a rat like that!" Tirgas finds he is grinning in spite of himself.

[sblock=actions]Topaz and Tirgas will double move to U-5 and V-5 respectively. Knowledge nature on the weird rat, mostly to check if it's exactly "natural:" 1d20+6=26

With a group of two legged creatures threatening their domain, the two rats growl and charge the invaders. Their fierceness is not represented well in their attack though, as neither is able to get a solid bite in on their foes. Ru's ripost nicks the crimson one just enough to draw blood.

The skeleton just stands there, content to watch as its guardians deal with this simple rabble that is invading.
[sblock=Tirgas]This rat seems to be of the fiendish variety. Something that has crawled out of the pits of hell to serve an evil master in this realm. It is also quite a bit larger than a dire rat would normally be. (Fiendish and Giant templates) The crimson rat has Smite Good as a feature. Odds are the skeleton used to be a wizard or witch and this was his familiar.[/sblock]

The group closes ranks to engage the rats and Charity realizes she is too close to strike with her Glaive. Making a withdrawing spin, she slides in behind the front. "Som'one can take mah old spot!"

Seeing the Rats coming to attack the others, Robert takes a shot with his damned short bow. This time he seems to hit.
"What? How did that happened..." Robert wonders.

Ru Brike, human ninja

"Now, I like red as much as the next boy," Ru quips as he dances aside from the crimson rat's snapping jaws. "But bright colors do make a better target." As the rat rears up, he makes his point quite graphically. One of his twin blades slits open the rat's throat as the other opens up its belly. Blood and entrails empty out as the creature falls to the ground in a gory mess.

[sblock=ooc]Greaty oogly mooglies. When Invisible Castle shows love, it doesn't do it lightly:

TWF Wakazashi attack vs. crimson rat; damage (1d20+3=23, 1d6=4, 1d20+3=21, 1d6=6) Two hits for 10 HP, both crit threats (Wakizashi threat range is 18-20)...

Crit checks for both Wakizashi (!); crit damage (1d20+3=20, 1d6=6, 1d20+3=16, 1d6=1) and BOTH confirmed for an additional 7 damage.

That's 17 damage to red ratty! Sweet! If I'm reading that stat block right, it means he's a bloody mess. :)[/sblock]
