I apologise for my language, here in NZ jerk is probably more offensive than the word I used, which has a jokey aspect to it.
Sorry anyway, divided by a common language and all that.

Still not impressed by this joke though, poor taste and started on 31st March... therefore not an April Fools joke- which would have been not funny but at least acceptable. I will certainly have nothing to do with this guy or his works in the future

I picked up the "slam Nick" vibe as well. In fact, I personally think it was the entire point.

However, I think there's something to be said for not using the customers of Nick as your medium/method.

That's basically my point.

I am curious: in what way do you percieve he has used the Razor Coast customers as a medium for the joke?

That's cool. But my point is, LPJ *is* one of those customers too.

Come on guys, it's not like Louis ever *said* he was doing Razor's Coast. Have a sense of humor.

Or, why don't you instead show some sympathy for people that have been ripped off? Or is it that all of us that have been ripped off are just a good target for you and others to laugh at?

It's quite clear what Louis' intentions were, whether we believed him or not, and taking the piss out of people who are out of pocket (I'm $60 out of pocket - for some it will be more) is really poor form. No, I never got my hopes up - but clearly a lot of people did. And that was clearly his intention.

So, thanks for having a good laugh at our expense (quite literally). Next time you get ripped off, feel free to post the details here and we can all have a good laugh at your misfortune.

I don't think that's funny at all - and I'm pretty sure neither does Louis. And I'm not laughing at you. If I'm laughing at anyone, it's that butt-hat Nick Logue, who hopefully will never work in this industry again.

To be fair, I've been ripped off before. I generally do laugh it off and chalk it up to experience. The alternative is to be bitter and angry and I don't enjoy being bitter and angry.

Good advice. Not to mention it's good for your mental and physical health. B-)

Question:

Who was actually affected by this? Nick or the customers of RC?

Nick knew this was a joke (if he was aware of it at all, which I doubt). The customers of RC did not, may have had their hopes raised, and then found out it was not Razor Coast.

So, who was the joke on again?

Good points, but I honestly believe that LPJ wanted to slam Nick and LPJ was speaking up for everyone who got ripped off.

But unfortunately it appears to have backfired. :erm:

Sure, a fair point. But laughing at yourself is not the same as being laughed at by others. One is by choice. One is not.
