Louis Porter Jr. Design is announcing its newest art resource for RPG publishers, graphic designers and art directors called Image Reference. The Image Reference series is a HTML based photographic reference program for artists, video game designers, and professional graphic designers to use. Each one of the Image Reference products contain many different images and photographs of people, places, and things that can be used as visual reference for artists and other to use to make their work more professional.

“All the well known and respected artists in an out of this industry use photographic reference to help with the creation of their artwork,” comment Louis Porter Jr., president of Louis Porter Jr. Design. “The two biggest artists names I can think off who use photographic reference in their artwork is White Wolf legendary artist, Tim Bradstreet, and the comic book superstar Alex Ross. Both of these gentlemen are well know for using photographic reference to help with their artwork. You can see how it helped them. Why wouldn’t artist want help like that?”

As a tool, Image Reference is perfect for any stage of artistic development from beginner, veteran, or otherwise. Image Reference will save artists immeasurable hours of searching for the accurate reference into time well spent at the drawing board.” stated Porter. Image Reference #1: Military Edition will be available by mid June and Image Reference #2: Urban City 1 and Image Reference #3: Urban City 2 should be available by the end of June.

I think the idea is as presented in the product:

Meaning, one may not have to sort through random horsecrap that Google will deliver. Not everyone is net-savy.
