Lycanthrope Tiger / Rogue just run dont look back RUN!

Armor yes I had a +3 ghost touch shield (used with long sword), +3 Red Dragon scale 20DR vs. any fire/heat based attack, and a +3 ring of protection unfortunately my cloak of displacement was destroyed (BY DM several weeks ago!) + boosting spells from party.

My 14th Fighter Eldrik also used several style combos, the right tool for the right job mentality. He had armor w/ spikes to go with his imp grapple, a helm of water breathing & a modified dig ring that gave me a 10' x 10' x 10' pit filled with dirty water; I would trigger these and grapple whilst drowning my opponents (killed many knightly types way-great way to preserve loot!), +3 great sword of wounding (for mass damage), +3 ghost touch long sword & a +2 brilliant energy L x bow (which I loved dearly), a horse rope of entanglement (could entangle twice as much) and my boots of haste. So I was DEFINETLY not under scale for my level, if anything with the cloak I took from our Rogue, Eldrik (this 14th Fighter) was over powered. I just got my @$$ handed to me by a rogue weretiger that got all 5+ of his attacks coupled w/ sneak attacks!

Our party has to deal w/ this kitty next week so the DM isn’t exactly forthcoming with the info. But he has e mailed me hazing/taunting me daring me to make a pc to come get slaughtered with the rest of the party. He is threatening a TPK!

+3 ghost touch shield: 16k+
+3 red dragon scale: 9k+
+3 ring of prot: 18k
cloak of displacement (assuming minor): 24K
+3 wounding greatsword: 50K
+3 ghost touch longsword: 32K
+2 brilliant energy L x bow: 72K and illegal, though maybe I don't understand "L x bow"

That's 221K as a conservative estimate (not counting the boots, rope, helm, or other stuff) for a character that should (by the book) have only 150k. Yeah, I'd say you were overpowered. :p

Wow, I think I wouldn't play in that group with that DM. Sounds like someone I'd call a bad name, but wouldn't want to on this board :)

You forgot to add in "Getting mauled to death by a weretiger anyways: Priceless."

This was a selfish minded warrior, as per life path. He did have a tendency to take top pick from loot, so I would agree he was over the top $-wise but in the scheme of things at 14th level He needed the party to buff him with spells his saves were for shat! He was a fun pc but not over powering, by any means.

lukelightening funny I will have to forward that to the rest of the party they will get a rise out of that for sure.

edit 1: Back on track here this lycen/rogue combo would offer a sneak attack with all his attacks for the flatfooted round , right?

Just wondering.. your fighter is a grappler type ?
Rake requires a successfull grapple... not sure if your DM missed that.. it may have given you a chance to avoid some of the damage.....

Yes, if you are flat-footed all the attacks would get SA added.

No he didnt miss anything, I was flatfooted surprised then dead, I really want to see the DM's creation after all is threw next week. If any one else uses this lycan/rogue in a campaign let me/us know how it turns out.

Remember that on the surprise round a tiger (or anyone else) can only make a single attack Though I guess it could make a pounce attack as a charge in the surprise round, right?

(I don't know if this was a surprise situation, I was just thinking).

Hm, so if I'm going to challenge a level 14 party with a single weretiger rogue, I'm probably going to need something around CR 16.

So, let's say a weretiger rogue 11. That means +6d6 sneak attack damage on each hit.

If all 5 attacks hit, that's 30d6 just from the sneak attack damage.

Ouch.

Of course, then the weretiger is in serious trouble, unless it has some way to get away, or has a flanking buddy.
