i was wondering if it its possible to contract lycanthropy in 4e like u could in 3e?
Do you remember where or when the article may have come out? Our latest quest has a lycanthrope as main villain, and the DM might draw inspiration even if the quality is not that great. There is an article with a quasi-lycanthropy as a disease track. It's pretty moronic though as all it does it make you go crazy under a full moon and attack your allies when you're hit.(by anything)
The disease track isn't a bad idea however, it's just really poorly executed.

Maybe we'll get infected lycanthropes when Ravenloft rolls out next year?In 4e, the infected lycanthropes are gone, it's now just a true-breeding race. A universally evil race, for some reason I can't fathom.
