Re: Dark Spiral Membership

I don't think they would mind, but I would apply for Dark Spiral Membership (www.white-wolf.com/fansites) for your website. If I had a decent site I would do so just to put up my Aeon Trinity conversion.

Thansk for this, the site has the link and the copyright added and is awaiting approval.

You cannot have character generation rules listed on your site or complete power listings (even if they are your own modifications). You can however list any changes to the rules For example: On our site we allow 50 extra freebie points.

I don't know if they mean this with the storyteller system in mind or not, that's still something to watch for.

I imagine it will be most anything relating to thier copyrighted product identity, either way I've applied and providing i get the okay, and I can;t see any reason why I wouldn't at least then I'd be able to include World of Darkness things for the Storyteller system too. :D

They do, and that legal statement is the reason I'm not putting my site on the Dark Spiral; I find it unnecessarily strict:

"If you make a character from clan Gangrel, that is not your character and could never be used without our permission."

I look at that line and go  because it can be interpreted in some very draconian ways.

I think that this line refer to the fact that you produce derivative maaterial, and couldn't publish it without their authorisation, while themselves couldn't use it either, because it's your production.

I think that this online policy is rather fair.
