"Die." Seif impales the mutant...... critically wounding the mutant who collapses to the ground with a scream and then tries to scramble away.
"Die and be cleansed." He almost reached for his father's gun again, then changed the motion into a running slash.

Seeing that the only ghost not fleeing is likely only sticking around because it's clearly stunned, Brian moves out of hiding.

"Let's leave the clean up to the military men," Brian calls to Deezy. "I need the Beast's arm strength to catch this thing so we don't hurt this poor guy when the base of this breaks."

If / when Deezy's in position, Brian turns his attention once more to the crucifix. Thick, cracking frost once again forms around the base, turning the base even more brittle than it was previously.

OOC: Weaken DC 16 on the crucifix if Deezy's there to catch it when the base breaks

Deezy looks up from where she's pounding at the weapons controls, trying ineffectually to magically cause the targeting systems to start working by inflicting damage on them.

"Uh...what? What thing? Oh!"

She waves a little smoke out of her face and buckles the harness again.

"Right, I'm heading over there."

The Metal Beast...who's bark was far more than its bite it seemed...turned and thudded ominously towards the crucifix, reaching out to grasp the metal cross and lower it gently to the ground.

With an inward movement, Sahid sucks the water out of the surroundings of the wasteland ghost that remains stunned, and the area around it gets so dry, that the creature itself begins to bleed from it's pores, the blood immediately coagulating as the water is taken from it.

WG 3 Fort: 23 vs 21 --> No Affect
Damn... even if I apply the -2 Toughness Save modifier to the Fort roll he will still succeed.

... but only manages to melt the ice and sweat from the mutant's skin.

Wasteland Ghost 3 recovers from being stunned.

Wasteland Ghost 5 staggers out of the settlement's gates.

Wasteland Ghost 6 and 10 staggers towards the gate.

before the melted mutant could do anything, Seif simply cut him down as he strode through. The desert man stopped within striking range of Shaughnessy, his blue eyes hard as ever...

The final two mutants escape from the settlement.


The crucified man is firmly tied to the cross with thick belt like straps. He is unconscious and it seems as if he was purposely left alive until the next potential caravan's approach so that he could serve as a warning.

The man's unconscious. He has no broken bones or any serious injuries except for multiple cuts and lacerations and a lot of bruising and swelling.
