[M&M2e] Red Sands Chronicles

"Pull back to the caravan! "Onward to Viking's Gate!" Seif yelled out as he maneuvers himself into a position that allows him to strike as many of the Watchmen as possible with his Dervish Strike. He then unleashes his strike, ...
Watchman 1: 1d20+1=8 -1 = 7 vs 16 --> Full Damage
Watchman1 Tough: 1d20+4=21 - = vs 21 --> Uneffected.
Watchman 3: 1d20+1=17 vs 16 -->Half Damage
Watchman 3 Tough: 1d20+2=3 vs 18 --> Unconscious
Watchman 5: 1d20+1=16] vs 16 --> Half Damage
Watchman 5 Tough: 1d20+2=5 vs 18 --> Staggered, Stunned --> Unconscious
Watchman 6: 1d20+1=6 vs 16 --> Full Damage
Watchman 6 Tough: 1d20+3=8 vs 21 --> Staggered, Stunned --> Unconscious

... knocking every watchman except for one unconcious.

Left mob moral: 1d20-6=13 vs 12 --> Success. No Longer Shaken.
Seeing the defeat of the Watchmen seems to fortify the Left Mob's resolve.
Rear mob moral: 1d20-3=13 vs 10 --> Success.
The rear mob do not seem to be effected by the sight of the watchmen's defeat.

Deezy continues to open fire on Lady Rasputina...
Deezy Attack 8 vs ---> Miss.
... but misses completely.

Paging [MENTION=27761]Blackrat[/MENTION] can't 'bury the dead' without seeing if their leader 'survives' this round.:P

[sblock=Binder Fred]I really have been hand waving that rule since I interpret the move action to apply to giving detailed/complicated orders. That said, I imagine what has been happening is that Seif been giving out general orders (ie "Go there do, stuff!") as a free action, only to have Lord Burroughmeister actually give out full instructions on how to carry out those general orders as an off camera move action.

Aeaxeos blasts at Lady Rasputina...
Blast: 1d20+5=13 vs 11 --> Hit
Lady Rasputina Tough: 1d20+3=14-2 = 12 vs 21 --> Bruised, Stunned

... knocking her to the ground.

The caravan holds their position outside the roadblock.

Lady Rasputina writhes on the ground in a stunned daze.

Watchman 1 glances at his fallen comrades then lays down his gun. "I surrender."
Rear Mob: 1d20-5=15 vs 10 --> success.

The Rear Mob quickly lobs their scavenged weaponry without aiming towards any one and quickly tries to flee.

The right mob continues to act in an uncoordinated manner.
The Left mob flees into an alley.

"There is no surrendering to The Puppeteer!" the thought came into Sahid's mind, like something he would say in this kind of situations. But he was no longer that man, no matter how much his past life tried to drill in.
Sahid looked at the only remaining enemy: Grigorieva.

He quickly moved close to her, scimitar in hand. "Surrender now, or your life will be forfeit."

OOC: Taking a readied action to strike at her if she refuses (+6 to strike Damage penetrating DC: 21)

Deezy carefully walks the Beast over towards the guardsmen, making an 'ew' face at all the blood spattered around. However, none of the wounds seem immediately mortal, which she's grateful for. Most, maybe even all, of the Watchmen would recover, given time and medicine.

"Give it up, Lady Rasputina," she advises over the Beast's speakers. For emphasis she points the still-spinning gyrocannon barrels at her. A plume of steam vents from the Beast's arm, carrying away the gun's accumulating heat...a clear sign that the weapon is ready to fire.

Lady Rasputina glanced toward the roof tops and grinned. "You think striking me down will save your local? Think again, it will only sign their immediate death sentence." She laughed. "If you value your lives and those of your local, then I'd take this opertunity to flee with that caravan. Do not worry, I will give you three days to return with your supplies before the gauntlet is brought down on your local, and you have my word."

"If you value your lives and those of your local, then I'd take this opertunity to flee with that caravan. Do not worry, I will give you three days to return with your supplies before the gauntlet is brought down on your local, and you have my word."

Brian thought speak, but realized he'd just spent considerable effort to avoid bringing attention to himself. Instead, he hustled forward to the caravan, hoping the others would take the reprieve. Either way, he wanted to be ready for the flight out of the city they were clearly destined to make.

"Bind her and take her with us," says Seif, not overly carring one way or the other (though she is fairly attractive). Now is definitively not the time for a lengthy interogation though. "How is the south caravan fairing, lord?"

Meanwhile the desert man does his best to get THIS caravan moving, now.

[sblock=Actions]Probably an attempt at distration, but since Deezy and The Ottoman are watching her, Seif will check the rooftops anyways (Notice +10). Seif's default is to range Deflect any incoming attacks from that quarter or from the Lady, against any of his allies.[/sblock]

"How is the south caravan fairing, lord?"

"The crawlers and runners are holding up. Unfortunately, one of our brothers in Runner 2's crew injured his neck during that crash. His driver thinks he'll be fine after drinking some spirits."

Seif glances towards the roof tops and notices the silhouette of two individuals observing the scene below with rifles trained in the general direction of the Ottoman.

Aeaxeos grabs a passing crawler and pulls himself up. Standing high he points his staff at the lady in black. This is over now. Your actions have made you an enemy of the Spartan Guard. We will make sure your superiors will know this. If you ever leave the city, you will be subject to the Spartan Law.
