Your description of the Elysium road said there was several of those along the way?
ooc: Yes, however for much of the way the road travels along side of a shallow 1/2 to 2 mile wide canyon. So the amount of cover you get really depends if you are traveling on the main road or within the canyon itself.

"Lord?"

Lord Borroughmeister thought for a moment, then chuckled. "No matter how we get cover, I believe that we should travel non stop towards the Galexias once we leave this ridge." He paused as he unfolded his map. "From what I understand, the most southern point on the Victoria Town's aerial patrols is above a settlement on the north end of the Galexias. I been told that the patrols do not land in that town, but instead they continue towards Nice or Cassandreia. Since that town is on the main trade route, I think it may be say to rest there without raising too much suspicion, but since much about that settlement is unknown to us, we may need to have Deezey contact that megacrawler to find out how safe that settlement is. However, even if it is safe, I do not think that our brothers will enjoy postponing noon-rest until then, but I think I can convince them that it would be for the best of our stranded brothers and sisters."

"Pass out rations now, with promise of rest later?" proposed the desert man, moral being an important part of a successful trip. "I would also like to discuss the release of our prisoner."

Lord Borroughmeister glanced towards the mega crawler. "Considering the speed of that machine, I think the last place we should release Rasputina is on this ridge..." He turned toward Seif, "... since I fear she may be able to get their attention once whatever illusions that are protecting our caravan fades. However, if we release her about 4 to 5 miles down the road, that should buy us about one hour before she is spotted by tha crawler or a patrol. That of course is assuming you don't want to release her at that Galexia's settlement."

Seif blinked, once, but smoothly flowed into a nod: "A walk will give her time to think." Without further ado, he strode back towards the caravan, shouting for drivers to "Rotate shifts! Break out provisions for a meal on the move! We will rest tonight, when we are safe! Surely you can do this much for your combine?"

[sblock=Vocabulary]"combine" is the word used by russian nomadic raiders to talk about their own tribes.[/sblock]When the caravan is off once more, he'll briefly get back into the cab with Rasputina:

He looked at her without words, drinking her in.... "Rejoice."

The Ottoman waves his hands around, and the cloud of fog condensates into one big blob of water, that floats above his head. He walks in with the water, thinking on using it to drink.

"You know," Deezy said, "I could try to raise the wrecked caravan. I know what direction they're in now, and even though they're out of normal range, sometimes radios are weird and can work over long distances even when they usually don't. If we have some time, I could try to amp up the gain on it too!"
