"Um," replied Seif, matter-of-factly, and "Stay here," was his recommendation to the buggy driver as he vaulted up his camel and quickly overtook then went past the two men on foot. "Klatta. Sentry has been disabled. Move up to the overwatch hill if you want to see the-" a pause. "-fun."

They saw him growing minimally smaller and smoke-concealed with distance....... then a PTOOSH of released steam and Seif's flapping form was sailing up, flipping over, landing *on the pointy summet* of a sharp protrusion set on top of the massive entry door (one of a series decorating the barbaric thing). Crouching low, he slowly looked about, both swords drawn.

[sblock=Actions]As described above, follow the tracks exactly to the door, then, assuming he gets there: Pole Vault to the top of the wall, using Sword in Stone power to remain/balance on top if need be.

In order:
1. Does he spot any movement or surveillance device inside the enclosure or on the wall?

2. How can the door be opened (is there a smaller postern door or is the big door the only way in, by the way?)?

3. Internal organization of the camp?[/sblock]

"Fun?" Deezy asked, perking up...then deflated a little when she realized the invitation was to watch not to help. She blew a forelock of hair out of her eyes and brought the Beast's systems up to speed. "Right, okay...I'm coming up to the hill then."

"You guys should know something too. I managed to detect and decode another signal that might be this ex-Spartan and his girl. She's basically complaining about being so far away from him, forced to watch barbarians, right? But all he says back is some kind of stupid poetry. But instead of getting mad, she just asks when she'll be chosen or something. And he says another poem. He sounds kind of crazy to me. So...basically...I'm not sure which is HERE and which is THERE...but it sounds like they're definitely not together, one way or the other."

ooc: Imagine that this scene happened with a 24 styled split screen

From the hill top, Deezy and Brian watched as Seif and Sahid advanced through the wasteland towards the silent raider camped hidden within the airship boneyard.
[sblock=Radio]After a short pause the woman spoke once again, "Sensei, how did my barbarians fair during their battles...?"[/sblock]
Seif Notice = 1d20+10=17
Sahid Notice = 1d20+9=29

All is still as the two desert men silently slipped through the wreckage of the boneyard's many derelict airship. The only movement they see is the scurrying of the occasional rodent or shuffling of a martian crab as it grazed on the moss like weeds that taken root haphazardly in the rust colored soil.

They do not see any surveillance devices on the outer edges of the bone yard, or for the most part within the slight maze abandoned wrecks.

Watching the camp, Brian still does not notice any movement from the sleeping raiders as Seif and the Ottoman near the half way point between the edge of the bone yard and the wall of the outpost...
Radio said:
"On the field of death / the lives of twelve taken. / Of yours, only four remain. / Broken, and battered / they carry barren sachels, back to Fob Pruss-Tomb... "
... From the duo's vantage point about 80 feet away from compound, Sahid quickly points out several video cameras along its walls. As they step closer, it becomes apparent that the camera's angle only allows it to view an area within 50 feet of the wall. They also notice what appears to be a secondary door located a few feet from the main gate.

With a wordless plan, the two then readied themselves for their assult.
[sblock=Radio]"Then once more the barbarians will starve, and maybe this time they will begin to plot a mutiny.. Never the less, I shall be prepared. Sensei, if my men are reduced to none, what shall be my fate?"[/sblock]
With their weapons in hand the two began their charge...
[sblock=Radio]"Alone,the blossom..."

Deezy could hear a beeping sound in the background as the girl interrupts. "Sensei.. I must go."[/sblock]
From the hilltop a shape of a woman emerges from one of the structures with a sword in hand. The woman seems to yell at the frozen watchman as Seif vaulted to the top of the wall, and Sahid slashed through the door.

The woman, a bedouin, wore a black full bodied dress with an intricate pattern stitched into its fabric in blue thread and a burqa adorned with metal beads, and spent bullet shells. She glanced from Sahid and Seif, then quickly bashed the hilt of her Shashka into a panel behind her, causing an air horn to sound.

Brian notices movement within the outposts structures, and is able to make out about a dozen and a half people scattered throughout the camp.

[sblock=FoB Pruss-Tomb discription]
The walls of FOB Pruss-Tomb are made from the substructure of airship canopies, and are reinforced with metal platting. The walls have a very narrow walk way going around it's top.

The shape of the FoB Pruss-Tomb is somewhat elliptical and is about 1/2s the size of football field (at most). The "buildings" within the camp are situated along the walls and for the most part are built out of buses, trailers, and airship gondolas.

Most of the camp consists of open space which surrounds the tower and what appears to be a large fire pit, and of course, space for the raider's vehicles.

The functioning vehicles you can see within the camp are 2 dune runners, 1 small crawler, and multiple atvs.

"She's the main target Seif. Without the main head, the hydra dies." states the Ottoman, still he was unsure Seif was familiar with greek mythology of Earth; however he thinks the message is clear. Kill the woman.

OOC: How far are we from the woman, and how far are the other raiders from us?

Brian Shaughnessy

"People moving inside now," Brian relays, cringing. "Though with that racket, hard for them not to be. Let's see if we can't at least confuse them with some random temperature drops..." He focuses on one of the heat signatures in the biggest group moving, shifting it's heat from it rapidly.

[sblock=ooc]I'm assuming that Perception range includes anything Brian can see with his infravision, so trying a Flash Freeze as indicated above. DC 20 save[/sblock]

"She's the main target Seif. Without the main head, the hydra dies."
"Information," reminded Seif.

He took the time to point back, straight at Klatta and her Great Metal Beast, before bringing his arm back in a round upwards trajectory that sped up and finished with an implied crash at the tenements huddling to the left side of the wall. A quick repeat, this time with a crash on the right side of the enclosure. Come on, sestrika, it is not that complicated. Think.

OOC: Remember that Seif does not have a personal radio (though if you shout loud enough, he *might* be able to hear the echo from his camel's radio :)).
[sblock=Actions]Move action: Order orbital strike. ;)
Free: Delay until after GM answers questions. ;) again.

Question 1: Does it look like the oil tower is still in use? i.e. full of oil/gas? (if it is, they should have some mechanism/pump/hose/nozzle/whatever to refuel the vehicles and/or the generators; he could possibly spot that). Notice +10.

Question 2: Does he recognize her tribe or, who knows, the individual? Know Desert +11.

VV covered the positioning questions quite well so I'll just say "ditto" to that. :)[/sblock]

"You very well know I can't do that without the assistance of Shaughnessy. However..." Sahid lifted his hands and the little water vapour around the woman begins to quickly condensates into basketball-sized blobs. Suddenly, as the Ottoman brings his hands down, the rain of water baloons threaten to encase the woman.

OOC: Using my Create object (Rank 10, Progression 1, Selective) to make a watery prison over the woman. I believe she needs to save with reflexes, DC 20.

Without further ado, the veiled one jumped...

[sblock=If the woman is trapped]...and landed cat-like near the stack of 45-gallon drums at camp's center. He pointed, "Bring her out! I will distract the rest!"

OOC: Switch array to Dervish Strike. I'm hoping the stack and oil tower arrangement will give him cover/concealement from at least part of the surrounding buildings...
[/sblock][sblock=If she succeeds at her save]...towards the woman, teeth bared, both swords arching up and back like bladed wings of death... They crashed down into the packed earth where she stood but milliseconds before!

"Abal of the Eloin," he greeted her as he shifted into a follow-up strike designed to decapitate her.

<Response Abal?>

OOC: Attack just for show as he only has a Standard left. Seif is now in melee: Effective Def 24 vs ranged. Since he knows so much about her history, he's assuming the same is true for her ("Eloin" would be her former tribe :)).
