Solasris winced as a thought occured. "Echo at the risk of being Captain Obvious, we are at the Daily Planet. Could Riddler have done something to the presses?"

"The papers," Echo says, nodding. "Solaris, you and Batgirl go check the presses. Dre, we'll take the helmet back for analysis along with the robots and whatever we can take of the shield generator. The rest of us, lets get everyone into the lobby, so we can move them out quickly. I'll check to see if the shield is down...if not, I'll see if I can turn it off or disable it."
She went to the nearest window to see if the blue curtain of energy was still in place.

Batgirl was already gone. She went investigating the second Question muttered 'No time'.
The last time someone muttered that, her Robin and Batman freed hostages from a trap set by the clock king. They _barely_ got out before the bomb blew.
She didn't hear Echo, cause she was already halfway there, taking out a flashlight from under her cape and looking at blindspots, before looking for clues...

As Echo peered out, something clicked in her mind. The Question hadn't chosen those words at random, and if by 'the papers' he meant the newspapers then that meant...
She called up a memory of herself opening a newspaper and shuffling through the pages. In general, the publication was to provide information, not ask questions...but there was one noteable exception that she realized would fit the culprit's MO rather precisely.
On the comm Echo said crisply, "Batgirl. Solaris. Check the plates used to print the crossword puzzle pages. Section 'D' I believe. There are riddles on that page too. Be careful."

As Batgirl searched, Solaris ran up to join her. "Do they do "work as a team" training at Bat school?" he inquired sardonically.
"F.A.B." Solaris replied simply.

"Yes." She said simply, looking at a particularly interesting shadow... no, nothing. "I was also trained to listen. Question mentioned something about 'time'. What does that tell you?"

"He was about to fall unconscious and didn't have any longer to say anything?" Solaris suggested. "Would it kill you to wait for instructions? We did make Echo leader and I suspect it would be very helpful to her if you actually let her lead. Going off your own doesn't help the rest of the team co-ordinate, does it?"

"Just a minute." Dre says as he is ordered to help to evacuate the hostages. He quickly turns back into his stalker form, trying to find the riddler's smell and put it back into his memory (does he smell human? mechanic?).
After doing this he becomes a stoneman, easily able to carry hostages, if needed.

Zatara nodded reluctantly "Seems like kind of a mundane task for someone who reads minds for a living but you're the boss!" and started to help herd the hostages downstairs. While near to the question he mutters. "Wohs em ruoy sterces."
