G-Wiz 2 HP7 AC 13
Hearing Corran's wise words, Genithar holds fire, taking a few steps back to keep the Velociraptors in view and trying to spot any other creatures.

Should Corran's spell fail somehow and they remain aggressive, he will fire.

ooc; 5' back, ready to fire should lizards remain hostile.

Terran Casts his spell and a blue light covers his weapon. As he moves forward he clearly gets the dinosaurs’ attention. Thral’k easily makes the climb down the ship and swims to the shore and runs to 10 feet from the tree line just in time to see the raptors pounce onto Terran. The first one leaps up and cuts the cleric across the abdomen (dealing 11 points of damage). Taking advantage of the injury, the 2nd attempts to tackle Terran. But as soon as it leaps it meets Terran enchanted mace receiving (8 points of damage) and is not able to complete the grapple. Genithar hoping Corran can still work his magic steps to the side allowing his ally to step forward and speak to the creatures. As Corran finishes his enchantment the creatures look at him and begin to lower their heads and scratch the dirt. Shade move up but as he sees the calm nature of beasts he slows himself.

End of combat: Well Done

Shadé tilts her head in wonder and walk up to touch on of them with her hand. She looks around, dissapointment shining in her eyes, and she asks. Now what?

...Shadé's eyes go wide and she looks past the lizards. Man said that there were more.

[sblock=OoC] Whether or not she can she anything, she'll reach down and grab a pair and stalk forward slowly trying to ferret out anymore. :p[/sblock]

'Terran!' the wizard shouts in alarm as the faithful of Kol Korran is injured, and keeping his crossbow at the ready, moves to the cleric.

Hearing Shade's warning, Genithar keeps his eyes on the bush like jungle, waiting for more to arrivre.

'Corran, can you ask the creatures to aid us? Or perhaps just leave?

In any case, the elf is ready to defend his friends, a sneeded, while shooting a glance behind him to see the dripping form of the lizard man already fading into the color of the sandy beach.

Sadly, I have no control over them. I just have them clamed down for a bit so that they won't attack us. If there are more, we will need to deal with them in other ways. Why must we do so, however? This isn't our mission, is it? Corran continues to keep his crossbow readied, but steers clear of the raptors and keeps it pointed away from them.

With the raptors now docile. The lizard scurries up the tree looking for signs of other raptors, but finds none. The treeline is quiet for now.

The Wizard shrugs, whispering, 'Agreed. The Straights are Dangerous, as is the Jungle. Be wary of idle games in the future...we have our survival to think of. The sailors are safe, let us return to the boats and row to the ship, this island holds nothing for us.'

Having said his piece, Genithar begins to back up, keeping his Crossbow at the ready. A quiet sleep, 'Meeeeow?' sounds from his bag.

Corran nods and starts back toward the ship as well. Of course, Thral'k and Shade could search the area for signs of our guides, or any other recent prey of these creatures. It worries me that someone dropped them off not long ago, almost as if they were planting a trap for us.
