The still lizard watches and waits, licking its lips in anticipation of something. It has seen many such places in Q'Barra. Death was certain to follow.

Not the anchient mystery type Shadé, with axe drawn, will walk behind Gregory and constantly scan for anything that might be a threat to her or their employer.

Scanning the script upon the Northern wall, Genithar calls out absent mindedly, 'Can any of you detect any tracks of others who may have come here? What about you, Darkleaf?'

Olgeff is looking toward the parimeter of the trre line as he hears his elf cousins words. "There are always something around here." he says. "From time to time the clans both send scout teams here to investigate and interprut the symbols. Our priests often use magic to read the meaning, although they do not share the information with anyone outside of our leadership."

ooc; Mel, do all G's rolls fail? If so, he'll use read magic

Unable to decipher the meaning of the ancient writings, a thrill goes up Genithar's spine as he hears the DarkLeaf's explanation that his far removed cousins have been coming to this site for decades, if not centuries...indeed, perhaps his ancient ancestors of another clan, the proto-Aerenai, had laid eyes upon this monument....

Blinking away such frivilous thoughts, the Wizard focused on what he could prove and bringing one hand up made a quick incantation of sharp words, flicking his fingers as if in some intricate sign language, before his eyes glowed the faintest of blues...and he read the ancient inscription....

ooc; take it away, Gm!

Translating the message for the rest of the group, Genithar takes out a quill, ink, and parchment. Then the Wizard begins to scratch the message upon his sheet, then turning to sketch the monument itself.

It's obvious he is attempting to puzzle out the meaning of the message and asks sagely of the group, 'Any immediate ideas?'

Well, the sun sets in the West, and the dragons, I believe come from Argonessan, an island to the East of Xen'Drik. Are there Glacial Plains to the North or South?
