It seems the statue is already facing in the direction the riddle suggests. I can't seem to grasp which direction to move it to, based on that, and I worry about the dangers of just moving it randomly.

The Wizard turns his head sharply at the Drow's plea, but does not become animated as he responds, 'It seems the statue points North now. If the way is not clear, is it not logical that the statue must be moved to face South? Perhaps an incorrect placement of levers will bring this danger? We must do something, we cannot be paralyzed by fear. Perhaps we should search the area more fully?'

Shadé completely bored with the situation and the talking, will walk up to the levers, if she can determine which one Geni was considering pulling she'll place her hand on that one but give a moment for someone to object before she pulls it.

Shadé smiles and Geni and move her hand to the far left one, as she was holding one of the middle ones.
If the far right one is close enough she'll try to throw them both at the same time. Using a foot if need.

As you move the one on the far right up the one on the far left moves down at the same time on its own. When the lever is pulled down the statue turns to the east pausing momentarily before it moves to the south and pauses again before moving to face the west. As it settles facing the west the ground begins to rumble and the statue turns quickly south to east to north. As it rests in north position a purple cloud be gins to appear 15 ft in front of the statue.

You have 1 round to react.
