Somac is somewhat dismayed at the talk of running from the fish-men. In his heart he can't help but desire to kill his enemies and plunder their goods. Already, the fish-men make off with goblinoid treasure... and who knows what Jezibel might have stored up in this cave.

But he holds his tongue and waits for the wise to make a decision.

He continues to hold his ground over Jezibel until her hands are thoroughly tied.

On hearing that, Nurlan thinks he understands why they landed in the middle of a battle and simultaneously attacked both sides. Humans, halflings, hobgoblins, they probably all taste similar. In his mind this eliminated one option. There would be no parley with the fishmen.
