Made my first gaming table!

Just a prototype to do rough ideas. Some things I’d change for sure. But it works great as a gaming table now. If I were to make another one, I’d use all hardwood, and also put in LED light strips around the inner edge. This one does have an outlet and USB charging port on each side, dice trays, and cup holders. As you can tell, I’m not much into detailed blueprints lol. Most of it was in my head.

Fantastic! I will always take the time admire fine wood craftsmanship.

You could also use a removable felt layer if you wanted to roll dice without having to hear the loud sound of dice.

Hard to see, but the dice trays are lined with thick felt for that very purpose ;)

Very nice!

I love the tea/beer stains on the blueprint - just kinda fits somehow. :)

Probably the only change I'd make would be to make one end longer to use as my DM area and thus not have to DM off a separate table; which with this table I would as there's not enough room at either end for all the gype I need behind the screen. (dice, papers (game log), more papers (old game notes I often have to refer to), yet more papers (NPC character sheets, etc.), the adventure, my beer stein, more dice, and of course the screen itself)

Thanks! That's what I tried to do. Both ends are larger than the folks on the sides. The dice tray is larger, and there is 13" of table space. Could be larger I suppose.

Very nice! I have a dedicated game table and it has brought a lot of joy. You won’t regret the time and resources spent. Well done and happy gaming!
