Argh I hate it when this happens but I can't remember anything...

I'm not sure from where, but isn't there a PrC about someone that loathes / refuses magic? Forsaken? I'm not sure if you want to build a character totally opposed to magic, or simply that wants to kill mages...

Particle_Man: nick in relation to the band?

St. Hoisin of the Green: a cleric/druid that believes arcane magic is a blasphemy against the natural order.

Levels: Druid8/Cleric3; take additional levels in druid or in fighting class. Take the silent spell feat and leadership.

As a cohort, gain Sneaky Robin, a woodsy rogue with high move silently and hide rolls and with improved disarm as a feat.

Technique: cast Silence on Robin's short sword and have him sneak up on the rogue. Meanwhile, shapeshift into a tiger. Once Robin's in range, he should ready an action to run around after the wizard. At that point, you pounce the wizard, using Improved Grab to initiate a grapple. While you rake and bite at the grappled wizard, Robin sneak-attacks her (a grappled character loses dex bonus against all nongrapplers). If she pulls out a wand or any spell components, Robin snatches them from her hand. If you have any reason to suspect that she's got still/silent spells, Robin instead readies an action to attack her as soon as she gets that spellcasting gleam in her eye.

This combination won't kill off all wizards, but it'll make a darn fine start :).

You are talking about the Forsaker PRc from Masters of the Wild.

Straight half orc barb with maxed out strength who throws greatswords. Range increments of 10, but 2d6 +10 (or more) of damage, plus what a kick ass visual.

For the record...

Amulet of Antimagic
Moderate Abjuration; CL 11; Craft Wonderous Item, Antimagic Field
Market Price: 198,000 gp
Cost to Create: 99,000 gp, 7,920 XP

Creates a permanent field of antimagic in a 10-foot-radius around you. As an added bonus, this would presumably be immune to any sort of dispel or disjunction effect.

Knowthetoe, how the hell can you make that?? You weren't serious were you?

And yes that would make a very interesting visual. Gives me an idea.....

I was reading 3.5 and decided to read the weapons descriptions and size rules when I came across a rule that says you can throw melee weapons at a -4 to aattack rolls and they have range increments of 10. I don't think it makes a good character concept, but I am definitely throwing my swords around more often :)

Yea you could do that in 3.0 as well, there is a feat in Sword and Fist that takes away the penalty to the attack roll.

Its called Throw Anything.
