ok a sorcerrer with Craft Wonderous Items and Craft Arms and Armor wants to make Dragon Scale Armor (Masterworked of course) and imbue it with Shield.
How much is this going to cost?
Yes, or you could have charges.Angelsboi said:uhhh its a spell. Doesnt spells have their own formula?
He wears it and it activates (use activated) so the formula for that is spell level x caster level x 2000 gp. Right?

Offical there are none, sorry, all crappy DH does now is let you make the armor masterwork for free, and that's only if you have enuff hide.Angelsboi said:also BTW, whats the AC bonus of Dragonhide armor? i looked in the MM and couldnt find the bonuses ...

Are you the sorcerer or the DM?
Check out the ring of invisibility. Spell level 2 x caster level 3 x 2000 is 12,000, but it's priced at 20,000.
Shield has a duration of 1 round per level. With a caster level of 1, that's 1 round. You think a 1 round spell being permanently on, granting a similar AC bonus to the 49,000 "+7 enhancement" price, but more stackable, is worth a mere 2,000 gold?
How abot the use-activated True Strike on a sword? 2,000 gp for +20 on every attack? I'll take it!
This is why those tables are just guidelines. If you apply them blindly, bad things happen. Every 4th level NPC would be using a True Strike sword and Shield shields... for 4,000 gold, it's a bargain set! Do you want to run into those NPCs?
