This question came up in a game. If a wizard fires a magic misisle at a displacer beast, does he need to roll for a miss chance?.

By rule there is no miss chance possible, because there is no roll to hit.

Correct. A magic missile always hits unless there is total concealment, meaning you can't see it at all.

From the SRD:

[...] He benefits from a 50% miss chance as if he had full concealment. However, unlike actual full concealment, displacement does not prevent enemies from targeting him normally.
