Magic of Eberron, anyone pick it up yet?

I guess I was hoping that much like Magic of Faerun, Eberron wouldn't shie THAT far from giving us divine spellcasters some edge in fighting foes.

My guess is that a supplement is being planned that focuses more on the divine areas (maybe not exclusively) and they didn't want to poach on its territory.

Also, there are a lot more things that qualify to be in "Magic of Eberron" that people want to see. I know when it was released a lot of people hoped a lot of focus would be had on dragonmarks and artificers, for example.

I loved Magic of Faerun. It was a great resource even though as a paperback it was overpriced, and I still use it. Even though I have all the Eberron books, the real reason I was excited about Magic of Eberron was that I expected it to be a comprehensive tome like Magic of Faerun. Unfortunately, it's not. Not even close.

Magic of Faerun had around 200 spells and 200 magic items. Magic of Eberron has around 50. It's the same price and roughly the same number of pages. Where does the rest of this space go? A lot of filler, including yet more maps of generic caves. We asked WotC to stop including sample characters for every PrC, instead we sometimes get two per PrC. The new magic item format takes 1/3 a page and divides the pertinent information between three paragraphs indiscriminately. I'll be reading an "effect" entry which makes mention of an ability but doesn't indicate a duration or uses per day. For that I have to look in one of the other entries, if it's even there at all. Obtuse for the sake of padding. At a glance I see some poorly designed monsters, some errors in magic item pricing and PrC abilities, and as a whole I am not satisfied with the book.

I'm wondering what the web enhancement for Magic of Eberron is going to have. I think I want more arcane spells and more feats.
