D&D 5E magic ponies for everyone

I'd hardly consider it game breaking. A game I'm running involves a sorceress who really wanted a fox familiar, but apparently sorcerers can't get little mystical animals following them anymore. I gave her a scroll of find familiar and we're calling it a day.

I agree --

with Find Familiar, since it's on the Wizard's spell list, I expect that scrolls will be available trivially once we have rules for them. Plus there's a Warlock option for rituals (and a warlock option for familiars1), and a feat that lets you become a ritual caster.

I hadn't processed that Paladins don't have rituals, and so, while their spells may be rituals (if they appear on other spell lists), Paladin-only spells won't be. That's actually interesting, and suggests that at some point the spell was "cleaned up" and the ritual tag removed. Thanks.
