Can a person throw all three magic stones in a volley?

Hi!

Don't think so, because "you make a ranged attack" roll to see if a stone hits. "Each stone that hits..." implies several ranged attacks. 1 ranged attack = 1 standard action in most cases.

Kind regards

Yes but they are very small and would think they would be a volley. Note: 1 Attack with several rolls. Wait where is the Shuriken rules in 3.5???!?!

They're just normal thrown weapons now. No more three per attack. They do 1d2 damage.

Only spells.

Magic stone is pretty clear: You enchant the spells and can use them later for ranged attacks. Cast spell: Standard action. Next round (assuming TWF and Rapid Shot or iterative BAB attacks): throw all stones.

even easier

or an easier way is to enchant the stones, and let 3 other people with held actions all throw them the round you cast the spell! That is what having wizards in armies is all about, baby!
