Magic The Gathering: The Role Playing Game

That reminds me. . . I lost my copy of the Dusk pdf - could someone email it to me?

It was quite a nicely done setting book, IIRC.

It is a rather large file, almost 20 MB

Probably because 4E is looking like a de-facto MtG RPG.
Strangely enough, that's exactly what I thought this topic was going to be about. :p

...there's a definite kernel of truth in your statement, however... ;)

I remember talk way back about a MTGRPG in development....... then Wizards acquired D&D and I assumed they figured "why bother."

I wonder how far development developed, and what aspects of it - if any - made it into 3E (or 4E).

Hm. If anyone has a better way, if they could email me still, that'd be much appreciated. I'm not sure exactly what happened to my copy - probably the same thing that happened to a bunch of bought and free documents not that long ago. . . :(

A 20MB attachment should be fine on this end, incidentally. But I can see how it might be a hassle for others.

None of it. I was a playtester for the M:TG RPG aka Manastorm back quite a few years ago. We only made it about six months or so into playtesting before it was dropped. Probably because WTOC had just acquired TSR, but also because the system, despite several interesting ideas, was seriously flawed.

I wanted to post the rules online here so they could be viewed and enjoyed, but alas...due to the Nondisclosure Agreement I was unable to.
