Magic Weapon Qualities in a SciFi game?

I'd like to use the magic weapon qualities from the DMG an inject them into my SciFi game, but can't think of a 'proper' way to apply them while mainting the aura of SciFi to the game. Help!

"Laser sight!" (a +X bonus to hit for ranged blaster)

"Pentium-8 with AI!!!" (as the seeking property)

"Napalm-Coated Projectiles" (as the flaming property, and it damn well takes a standard action to light the nozzle, just like it did for Ripley)

"I call it a Loudener" (+2 points for obscure 80's reference) (as the thundering ability, plus it's really loud)


For melee weapons, adding shock should be easy to hand wave, and you can just say that flaming is pronounced "plasma" or "napalm-feed". Mighty cleaving is just another word for "monofibre vibesaw".


For higher plusses to missile weapons, consider "head-mounted integrated HUD sight" -- with better & better targeting, or quicker targeting (for the speed enhancement), or whatever.


Bane... hmm... "Pentium-8 with a really spiteful AI!" ;)
