Magic "Weapons" for monks unarmed attacks?

Otterscrubber

First Post
Are there any magic items out there that add bonuses to hit and damage (or other special modifiers to attacks like "Flaming") to a monk's unarmed strikes? Like Handwraps of <insert effect>? I know I can houserule stuff but curious as I'm not seeing anything in the DND Beyond content yet I feel I have seen stuff like this somewhere....perhaps another edition :)

I'm not aware of anything like that in the core, but in my games I've had everything used from gloves to cloak pins to nipple rings as stand-ins for magic monk weapons.

The monk in the campaign I'm running right now has the "Handwraps of the Living Stone Sage" - previously used by a famous monk explorer and sage from their order. These wrappings cover the hands, forearms, and shins, and give +1 to hit/dam and +1d6 bludgeoning damage on unarmed strikes as your limbs become hard as stone.

At this point, you will have to homebrew a few.

One idea I heard years back was a gadget that would convert your extra Monk speed into the ability to keep running along walls without having to return to the floor at the end of your movement.
That could be fun in-play: "I grab a heavy object, spend ki to run up on the ceiling over -BBEG's- head, and drop it on him."
