Making a creature.

Ooh, it's the Golem! Great choice for a monster. (Also, love FFCC. I based a whole dungeon on Rebena Te Ra pretty recently myself and the game has lots of music that makes for great atmosphere.)

I'm not great at monster creation so I'm not one to be able to help CR it, but I can say that I'd definitely use it in one of my games (once it was definitely completed and tested and such).

Well, looking over my bestiary at the Golems (seemed like a half-decent point of reference) reveals that the ones in this book actually have no skills whatsoever.

So I think you should wing it at first with regards to which skills to give it, and then test the creature to find out what a good number of ranks would be.

I've just realized that I don't know which edition you're using (again, I probably just skipped over it without noticing). Going by 3.5 I would give it spot, listen, possibly jump and... Actually not much else. Maybe a knowledge or two.

Yes, 3.5. I didn't mention it, my bad. I'm thinking 4+Int. Mod/Level, x4 at 1st? So, Spot, Listen, Jump, Concentration, Intimidate, Knowledge(Arcana), Knowledge(Nature), Knowledge(History), Knowledge(Religion)?
