Making a Game

So you've got a great idea for a game. Good mechanics, good fluff, good everything. You've even found a company you could publish through. It's all tentative for now, so you don't get too detailed just yet. You have one big problem, though; No art.

How do you find art/artists, and how do you enlist them for this project?

Stick the project on RPG Freelancers and you'll get a whole bunch of bids. It sends an email out to over 100 signed up freelance artists, who'll give you a range of quotes from the very cheap to the very expensive.

Or if you have some friends or anyone in your group that is an aspiring artist, throw them a bone.

A good friend of mine is helping me
I can ask my cousin if she'd like to do it.

Stuff like that.

Spread the love eh?

Thank you very much for that resource, Morris!

I would have already tapped my friends if any of them were good enough to illustrate rules books. Maybe if I were making first edition D&D!
