Also, just to get opinions, as a fighter, which would you say is better:

1. using a bastard sword/shield with bast sword weapon prof's feats
2. using 2 bastards w/ bast sword prof's and 2 weap fight feats
3. using greatsword w/ greatsword prof feats

I'd say 4. using a bastard sword and light shield with bast sword weapon prof's feats, two weapon fighting, and improved shield bash, for the best of all 3 worlds. Sword and Board, TWF, and 2Hands when you can put the shield away. Good show all around.

Hmm... I'm at school at the moment, but can someone point me to a chart or fomula or something of how to find gold for doing said skills etc. Because we tried the whole tumble, show-off-your-skills in the town square and such, but we were only pulling like 3 gold max. I'm not sure if the town is just that freakin' poor or if he was just pulling random numbers from places. As I said, we've generally started with a chunk, starting from scratch is a new thing for all of us, DM included. Thanks for the ideas and help too, btw...
