Sorry for going a bit OTT, but it really is in the style of the book.

Martial Avengers, the first installment in our Modern Heroes line, started life as a class book for Strong and Fast Heroes but has since spiralled out of control and become something much more than we originally dreamed.

Not only is this a toolkit for playing Strong and Fast Heroes in yoru D20 Modern game, but has captured the essence of the modern action cinema genre beyond all our expectations.

Inside you will find:

Chapter 1: Character
New starting occupations and talent trees, including a new concept: Prestige Talent Trees.

Chapter 2: Skills
Including new used for Str and Dex skills and a modern adaption of our Fighting Techniques which were critically acclaimed in our DarkLore supplement.

Chapter 3: Feats
A number of new feats for your strong and fast heroes.

Chapter 4: Combat
New rules for grappling, binding weapons and life-daving active defences.

Chapter 5: Advanced and Prestige classes
14 new advanced classes and 4 new prestige classes for Strong, Fast and multiclassed characters.

Chapter 6: Campaign Models
A discussion of the variety of action cinema genres and a collection of new rules to help emphasise these themes, along with a breif description of a new setting, Extreme, the embodiment of action cinema in a single setting.

Nothing set in stone yet. It will depend upon how well it does. We might get the opportunity to put one or two of our products into print over the next year, so the books we think are most likely to be commercially successful will be the ones we choose. Therefore if this bok does well it's likely to go to the top of the list.

Some more stuff on Martial Avengers. Here's an exert from the Advanced Classes chapter:

Martial Avengers is a supplement that concentrates upon the creation of action heroes, covering as it does the Strong and Fast Hero classes which form an ideal basis for such classes. The advanced and prestige classes presented in this chapter therefore concentrate on providing a way to make characters iconic action heroes, taking their inspiration from the movies, books and comics that have spawned such heroes. One of D20 Modern’s key concepts is the use of multi-classing to create heroes. Therefore, as well as providing advanced classes that are most easily accessed by Strong and Fast heroes, Martial Avengers also offers advanced classes that lead naturally from Strong and Fast heroes who are multi-classed with other basic hero classes.
Presented in this chapter are the following advanced and prestige classes.

STRONG HERO
Pro Wrestler: a sports entertainer whose wrestling skills can be turned to real combat.
Street Brawler: a self-trained fighter who uses down and dirty style fighting to overcome problems.
One Man Army (Prestige): a lethal warrior able to overcome vast numbers of enemies

STRONG HERO MULTICLASSES
Ahlete (Fast): a professional sportsman whose athletic prowess gives them an edge as heroes.
Shotgun Joe (Tough): a shotgun wielding hero who battles the supernatural.
Exemplary Hero (Smart): a hero who combines mind and body to become a champion of good.
Street Cop (Dedicated): a hero taking down his enemies regardless of the odds.
All American (Charismatic): a regular guy whose heroism inspires others.
Cruiserweight (Fast, Prestige): an unarmed combatant who relies on speed and power

FAST HERO
Assassin: a professional specialising in killing and stealth.
Racing Driver: an expert behind the wheel whose control at speed with a vehicle is unmatched.
Shadowblade (Prestige): a master of stealth and assassination

FAST HERO MULTICLASS
Lightning Fist (Strong): martial artist emphasising speed with power.
Stuntdriver (Tough): a driver who knows the limits of their vehicle and uses them expertly.
Vigilante (Smart): a remorseless, deliberate and deadly enemy of criminals
Transporter (Dedicated): a mover of goods who always makes the delivery.
Ace Pilot (Charismatic): a free spirit whose charm and skill keep him flying on his own terms.
Two Gun Killer (Strong, Prestige): A martial artist who chooses handguns as their weapon of choice.

Within the next few weeks. I would have though certainly less than a month. We're just putting the finishing touches to it now. And as it's a PDF as soon as it's ready we'll be able to put it up for sale. We're essentially just waiting on the artwork now, so as that comes in I'll be posting some more previews.
